Unimog Air Fittings
This fitting is the one I used to screws into the air tank on a unimog. The metric threads are 22mm in
diameter and 1.5mm threads. The female end is 1/2 or 3/8 inch NPT. From the NPT fitting I attached
an air connector for the air hose to air up tires and run air tools. If you can't find it locally you can probably
order if you Central Indiana Rubber 765-362 7790 you need to ask for Eric and tell it is for a Unimog.
Give him my name and I think he will know what you want. I think I paid are $20 for this fitting.

You can get an M22 x 1.5 male to 1/2"
NPTF female adapter from McMaster-Carr <www.mcmaster.com> for $11.98.

This is the other fitting that you can access the air system. Some people have drilled out the center and
retapped for a common fitting. I have no experience doing that.. I have not been able to find a fitting
that can screw onto this and convert to a common pipe thread. If anyone knows of one please let me
