Baja Trip December 2004
Day 3
After a peaceful night on the beach and a nice sunrise we broke camp and
headed south.

These we the facilities at the beach camp.

We stopped for fuel in San Quintin and then at an abandoned Onyx mine
about 8 miles off the main road. This is the school house made of onyx. You can
see the rain on the windshield. The wind was blowing and not too pleasant outside
the cab.

These were some of the graves at the abandoned onyx mine.

Camp on the 3rd day was a few miles from Catavina in the boulders.

Prior to leaving our last beach camp we purchased two gunny sacks of clams from the
fishermen. They were prepared as ceviche and cooked in the fire and were really
good.

View of the camp from the boulders. We went up to watch the sunset. There
was a lot of clouds so the sunset not great.
