Baha Trip December 2004
Day 2
The expedition consisted of 6 vehicles: 4 sportsman vans, the Turtle Expedition
camper and my 2450 red Unimog. After spending the night in Ensenada we left
early in the morning for San Quintin. Everyone slept in their campers except Megan
and I who stayed in the Corona Hotel.

The drive from Ensenada was about three hours. We stopped on the way to the
beach at the oyster farm to get many dozens of fresh oysters.

Megan helped wash the oysters.

We went over the sand dunes to the camping spot on the beach.

On the beach

Looked for sea shells. We found a lot of sand dollars.

At the campground for the night. First we had to have coconut rum drinks. You take a fresh coconut
and remove the top. Drink or pour out some of the milk and add rum to taste.

The oysters were eaten raw with lime and hot sauce. We cooked some of them
over the open fire.

Sunset was beautiful.
